Read the guideQuestions
Is personal journaling free?
The current version offers free personal recording with no daily or total entry-count limit. That does not mean unlimited storage: your own iCloud capacity and the current attachment limits still apply.
Does DayNest work without iCloud or offline?
The current version uses iCloud as its authoritative record store. Loading and saving require iCloud sign-in, a working internet connection and available storage. Do not rely on it for offline writing or as a separate local-only journal.
How many photos can I add?
The current version accepts up to nine photos per entry. Photos are selected by you; this is not an automatic camera-roll importer, video journal or food-calorie scanner.
Can I export my journal?
The current export is JSON entry metadata. It does not include photo files and is not a complete media backup or a PDF album. Keep original photos separately when they matter to you.
